Hi everyone! I just joined and am excited to be here. I'm just getting started collecting Hot Wheels. It's funny how life can come full circle. I'm old enough to remember when they first came out and how they were the best darn toys I ever had. After so many years of being away from them I've got that giddy feeling like I had when I was 8 years old again. Anyhow, it's good to be here and I know I'll have lots of questions and catching up to do.

Yeah, that's the problem. I'm old enough to remember when  these cars were actual every day occurrences driving down the road. You gotta admit, though, that a lot artistic thought went on in their design. Everything nowadays pretty much looks like a box on wheels.

Well, I'm not old enough, but I do agree with you. I park my daily driver next to the '65 Impala Super Sport that I'm working on and I can't believe how beautiful the Impala is, even if it's rough and has no paint.

I can only imagine what it would be like to see only those cars all day, everyday.

You'll see that Mattel had got some sweet models recently. '69 Coronet Super Bee, Dodge Demon, AMC AMX, list goes on. I hope you didn't miss too much of them cause you'll have to catch up on ebay  Wink. 2010 will be a great year though, welcome aboard.

Yup, I'm on to these - already in my possession as of this reply. Currently I'm building the base to my collection going back to about 2004 on certain models (Charger, Chevelle, '57 Chevy, etc, to name just a few. Roll Eyes) The more I look into the guide the larger I see my collection growing in the near future.
