2nd Annual Texas Hot Wheels Collectors Picnic

On Saturday, September 18th, South Texas Diecast Collectors hosted the second annual Texas Hot Wheels Collectors Picnic. The day couldn't have been any better. The weather was great and the turnout was outstanding.

This year's picnic featured
On the menu we had Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Fajitas, Chips, Dips, Snacks, and Deserts.
There was diecast racing throughout the whole day with several different classes. They included Mainline Hot Wheels, Redlines only, Drag Bus only, and Anything Goes. We will also ran the 'case' race competition as well. This was very popular event and totaled 140 cars.
There is an 8 acre lake that was available for fishing in and folks were able to bring and pitch a tent if they planned on staying overnight until Sunday.
